Mrs. Meek's Fourth Grade

About Our Class

Meet Mrs. Meek

Hello! My name is Mrs. Meek and I am a fourth grade teacher at Arlington Elementary for the 2010-2011 school year! I couldn’t be more excited about the school year!

I grew up between the small towns of Fulda and St. Meinrad in southern Indiana (about 10 minutes from Holiday World). I attended Heritage Hills High School. After high school I went to Franklin College and received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. I graduated from Franklin College in May 2008. I began my teaching career at Mays Elementary and taught fifth grade for two years. In the fall of 2009 I began my master’s degree. I received my master’s degree in Educational Technology with a focus on Technology in Schools from the University of Missouri during the summer of 2010. (Master’s Degree Portfolio)

I have been married for two years to Randy Meek. We have a wonderful (and slightly spoiled…) miniature schnauzer, Pepe. I am currently the BRMS Cheerleading coach and love getting to work with the girls. In my spare time, I enjoy taking walks with Pepe, baking, and sewing.

I’m looking forward to a GREAT year in fourth grade!
